Prof. Young Moo Lee

Professor Young Moo Lee received his B.S. and M.S. in Polymer Engineering at Hanyang University in 1977 and 1979, respectively. He then enter his PhD program in Fiber and Polymer Science at North Carolina State University, Raleigh, North Carolina, U.S.A. under the sponsorship of Hanyang University. After he received the PhD degree in 1985, he joined the membrane group at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York followed by his appointment as a senior polymer chemist at 3M in St. Paul, Minnesota. He joined Hanyang University as an Assistant Professor in 1988. He published more than 240 peer reviewed SCI journal articles, 100 domestic journal articles, 40 patents and 5 book chapters, more than 100 invited talks in various meetings and institutions. He was appointed as an Editor of Journal of Membrane Science published by Elsevier in 2004. He is a fellow of Korea Academy of Science and Technology, and member of National Academy of Engineering of Korea. He is currently nominated as HYU Distinguished Professor from Hanyang University in 2007
