<title>ABSTRACT</title>
<p>The paper follows the analysis of kinematics and dynamic response of the mechanism of a hydraulic turbine directory apparatus. A mathematical model was developed for kinematics analysis, with a simple and easy matrix formalism to implement on computer. For dynamic modeling, is used the Newton Euler algorithm, completed with the Lagrange multipliers method. Input data were obtained experimentally. The purpose of these tests is to create the database needed to optimize geometric-kinematics and dynamic synthesis of the mechanism by conventional methods and finite element modeling.</p>
