ABSTRACT

Adopting the method of theoretical and empirical analysis, this paper studies the post evaluation of one of a Continuing Engineering Education training programs – the program for the staff in middle-level positions of Sinopec Corp. Based on the characteristics of the trainees and the training program, the evaluation program was designed into an “evaluation-by-level” model. Visits were made to the trainees’ companies where the trainees, their superiors and subordinates were interviewed and questionnaires were collected. The study of the data and information brings about the qualitative and quantitative outcomes. Benefits and values of the post evaluation of the continuing engineering education may bring to in companies are discussed as well.
