ABSTRACT

Frequency hopping is technique in which transmission frequencies are alternated in a predetermined hopping pattern known only to the sending and receiving devices. Frequency hopping means to transmit data in different frequency slots. The total B.W of the output signal is equal to sum of all these frequency ‘slots’ or ‘hops’. There are two types of the frequency hopping slow frequency hopping and fast frequency hopping. Frequency hopping is used for security purpose in wireless network because it becomes difficult to access the wireless network by unwanted users. We are designing this algorithm to increase the wireless network security & solve the problem of accessing the wireless network in secured way. But, when only sender end knows the pattern of frequency hopping the network security will be enhanced.
